In UNE users can save an app as a template. This template exists as an item within the ArcGIS portal. Other UNE users can use templates to create their own apps with the same app configuration. In addition, the app can use existing feature services or automatically create new feature services in a user’s content.

How to create a template

1. Find the app you want to make into a template from the home page of UNE.
2. Select the ellipses on the card, and choose export.
3. Then select Get Started to Export as Template.
4. Give the new template a Name, Tags and a Summary.
5. Decide whether to include the data within the export (if yes, also drop down to each feature to decide which data is included).
6. Click Create.
